There will be a good many Brigg people at a comedy night this autumn at the Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort at nearby Broughton.
The date is Friday 23rd September and it will be in aid of the NSPCC children's charity.
Appearing will be Alfie Moore, police sergeant from Scunthorpe-turned-comic, and star of the It's a Fair Cop series on BBC Radio 4; Steve Royle, who appeared on Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights; and Anthony King, offering comedy with a musical twist.
The evening will include a pie and pea supper and a raffle to raise money for the venue's chosen charity the NSPCC, with lots of great prizes to be won.
Tickets cost £20. To book and find out more, call 01652 650770 or email forestpinesevents@QHotels.co.uk
