Brigg Town Football Club suffered a 3-0 pre-season friendly defeat against Spalding United at the EC Surfacing Stadium (Hawthorns) yesterday (Saturday, September 12).
Brigg play in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One, while Spalding are members of the Northern Premier League South East Division.
Brigg Town Reserves were in action in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League Premier yesterday, visiting Horncastle Town and earning a 2-2 creditable draw in their opening league game of the campaign.
On Tuesday (September 15) Brigg CIC Reserves are due to host Grimsby Borough FC (Mens) Reserves at the EC Surfacing Stadium (7.45pm KO) in the Lincs League.
