National Fish n Chip Day 2020 is being celebrated across the UK today (Friday, September 4) offering Brigg people the chance to enjoy 'one of each' or other fish dishes of choice.
The town has Scalinis, in the Market Place, and The Hungry Fisherman, on Coney Court, providing sit-down restaurant facilities as well as takeaways. There's also The Garden (takeaway only) on Grammar School Road, near the junction with Preston Drive.
Locals can also visit a range of other Brigg eateries, including some pubs, and select a fish dish from the menu.
Brigg Blog has been contacted by Foodhub - the national takeaway delivery app.
It is offering 10% off fish and chip orders at designated takeaways, so people can enjoy the classic British dish "for a fraction of the price."
Simply input the code BUTTY2020 at checkout and enjoy a fish-tastic treat, it says.
This offer is now valid and runs until 23:59 on 6th September. No minimum order (restaurants may have their own minimum order). £5 maximum redemption value. One use per customer.
