The passenger train timetable has now been announced ahead of the service through Brigg station resuming on Saturday, September 19 - following a period of suspension related to the Coronavirus emergency.
There will be three trains heading to Grimsby and Cleethorpes via Barnetby, and three bound for Sheffield via Gainsborough and Retford.
However, please note that there is currently some uncertainty about the departure times from Brigg heading east to Grimsby and Cleethorpes. So our advice is to work to the EARLIEST quoted below to ensure you don't miss your train.
Northern Railway - the train operating company - gives departure times from Brigg, mid-September to December 12, as:
TO GRIMSBY & CLEETHORPES: 9.16am, 1.20pm and 5.20pm (leaving from platform one).
TO GAINSBOROUGH & SHEFFIELD: 11.48am, 3.43pm and 7.48pm (leaving from platform two). www.northernrailway.co.uk

However, Brigg Blog has been told by the Independent Brigg Line Rail Group that there will be temporary amendments to the timetable on the commencement of the passenger services from Saturday, September 19 until mid-December.
Train services from Brigg heading towards Barnetby, Grimsby Town and Cleethorpes, according to the BLRG, will leave earlier - at 8.59am, 1pm & 4.58pm.
Trains from Brigg heading towards Kirton in Lindsey, Retford (low-level), Worksop & Sheffield remains the same - at 1148, 1543 & 1948 - the group says.
