TIME TO SUPPORT BRIGG MARKET
Brigg Market will be operating again tomorrow (Thursday, June 11) having resumed last week when the Coronavirus emergency closure imposed some time ago was lifted.
Social distancing measures apply when queuing and being served at the stalls erected by North Lincolnshire Council, which operates the historic market.
When things resumed on June 4 there were 10 stalls spaced across the Market Place and the Grimsby fish van near the Buttercross.
Hopefully more shoppers will support their local market tomorrow; last Thursday's attendance could have been better, but cool weather did not help.
The smaller Saturday general market has also resumed and Brigg Farmers' Market will go ahead on Saturday, June 27.
It will attract plenty of people from far and wide.
