BRIGG SHOPPERS: DON'T PUT YOUR FOOT IN IT - QUEUE AS DIRECTED

Brigg will have to wait and see how effective the newly added 'queue here' markings prove to be outside business premises in the town centre.
More shops - classified by the government as providing 'non-essential' services - will be permitted to reopen next week after being in Coronavirus emergency lockdown.
Some yellow and white markings have already been put down, instructing shoppers to queue close to business frontages and entrances - not in a line across nearby pavements.
This is to ensure social distancing between queueing shoppers and passers by.
It's too early to draw any meaningful conclusion, but observations at different times on market day Thursday (yesterday) showed mixed reactions to the new markings.
So please don't put your foot in it by ignoring the footprint markings when waiting to enter local shops where markings are evident.
The same applies when using public bench seating in the town centre.
