Roadworks on the A18 outside the Aldi store construction site in Brigg are scheduled to end on Friday (June 19).
May 4 saw the start of a project involving the installation of a bellmouth, traffic islands and resurfacing.
After the roadworks have concluded, work on and adjoing the new store will continue.
The end of the A18 part of this project will be good news for passing motorists and also for pedestrians because a stretch of footpath near the store site entrance has been unavailable to them for some time.
These pictures were taken yesterday (Wednesday) and show the busy site, the area adjoining Bridge Street and the store building.
The opening date has yet to be announced to eager shoppers by the international discount retailer.
