BRIGG MARKET REOPENING WITH A FEW CHANGES

Brigg Market will reopen from Thursday (June 4) having been suspended for some weeks during lockdown.
North Lincolnshire Council Leader, Coun Rob Waltham, kindly rang Brigg Blog to confirm this positive move after details had been finalised.
The outdoor market in Ashby will also resume from Thursday.
The council says social distancing measures will be in place at both markets to protect customers and stallholders.
People are being urged to stay alert and follow the instructions that are displayed when supporting the businesses.
Before returning to trading, stallholders have completed a Covid-19 risk assessment to ensure they have taken the necessary steps to implement Government guidance to operate safely.
More space has been created at Brigg Market with stalls repositioned to provide customers with extra room when queuing. Staff will be on hand at both markets, monitoring social distancing and volumes of people to ensure that people remain safe.
