'SHOP SAFE AND SMART' IN BRIGG

Independent Brigg businesses are to take part in a  'Shop Safe and Smart' initiative.
What the government classes as non-essential retail premises will be allowed to open from June 15 as long as there are no increases in Covid-19 Coronavirus cases, says Brigg Town Business Partnership which has collated relevant information from the government for its members.
'Shop Safe and Smart in Brigg' is the message from the BTBP.
Its aims include...
  • Ensuring all customers MUST use provided hand sanitiser or gloves in members' shops.
  • Limiting the number of customers allowed into local shops to an appropriate number for the size of the premises.
  • Cleaning the premises daily.
  • Cleaning high contact surfaces between each customer.
Shops that make this pledge and follow the steps suggested will be provided with laminated posters, provided by the BTBP, advertising their compliance.
This will give customers confidence about coming to Brigg for shopping.
The Partnership is in consultations with North Lincolnshire Council.
