BRIGG TOWN CENTRE PIGEONS BACK IN FOCUS

This picture might suggest that pigeon numbers are rising again in Brigg town centre.
From time to time in recent years the problem of accumulated pigeon poo on paving in the pedestrian area has been raised during council meetings, with calls for action to be taken on public health grounds.
The 40-or-so birds seen here on the roof of just one building on Wrawby Street were photographed from Bigby Street - some distance away.
Whether people now get in a flap about the pigeons remains to be seen!
