THE MOGGIES BAND TO PERFORM IN BRIGG
Music-lovers can enjoy a live gig by The Moggies in Brigg this weekend.
The well-known band, which includes former Brigg & Goole MP Ian Cawsey, will be performing at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club on Saturday, April 27.
Admission is free to enjoy the show at the Coney Court venue, starting at 8.30pm.
The Moggies play many gigs in Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Barton and Immingham but don't appear in Brigg all that often.
They specialise in songs from the 1960s, so a night of nostalgia is in prospect.
On Friday evening (April 26) The Blighty Belles will be appearing at the Servicemen's Club, having been re-booked by Brigg Heritage Centre.
From 7.30pm there will be what the organisers call a local hop, featuring popular music from the 1950s and 1960s. Tickets cost £12.50p - themed supper available. Call 01724 296771 for further details.
