BRIGG LOCAL HISTORY WALKS & TALK COMING UP

Brigg Blog anticipates a good turn-out for a forthcoming local history talk.
Rob Fanthorpe will be delivering an illustrated talk about Highwaymen in North Lincolnshire at the next meeting of Brigg Amateur Social Historians.
This will take place on Tuesday, May 7 at the Servicemen's Club, on Coney Court, from 8pm.
Admission is free and there's no need to book tickets - just turn up on the night.
A raffle will be held to help with costs, and refreshments will be served to those attending.

While we are on this topic, the first History Walk Around Brigg - to be held on Sunday, June 2 - is now fully booked; there will be another on June 9.
Tickets for these walks cost £2 - inquire at Brigg Tourist Information Centre in the Market Place's landmark Buttercross.
