NEW FLATS COMING TO BRIGG TOWN CENTRE

An amended scheme to provide new residential flats within Brigg town centre has been approved.
North Lincolnshire Council planners have agreed that two can be provided at 40 Bigby Street - one on each floor.
The authority has now granted permission to change the use of a commercial building, including the installation of replacement windows and doors and rendering "to all elevations."
A council report explains this application is a re-submission of one approved last year.
"The only alterations proposed by the re-submission are the arrangement of windows/doors to the rear elevation which are considered to be acceptable," the report concludes.
In former years, 40 Bigby Street, pictured above, was used as offices.
