GO AHEAD FOR 32 NEW HOLIDAY LODGES IN THE BRIGG AREA

A development catering for people who are keen to come and holiday in the Brigg area has received the go ahead.
A planning application for change of use of land for siting 32 holiday lodges, warden's lodge, site supply shed, shop, pond and landscaping has been approved by West Lindsey District Council.
The development is earmarked for land off Brigg Road and Grasby Wold Lane, Grasby.
The successful application was made by Stoneledge Holdings Ltd, of Cottingham, near Hull.
This scheme for what is described as a dormant commercial quarry is expected to result in six full-time and two part-time jobs.
People who use these holiday lodges just a few miles from Brigg are potential customers for our town's shops and other businesses.
Perhaps the operators of the site will be happy to take a bulk supply of those helpful Brigg is Best leaflets, outlining what the town has to offer visitors. They could be displayed within the site shop.
Brigg Town Business Partnership will perhaps consider our suggestion.

.....so why hasn't Brigg got a caravan/camping site?
Holiday lodges are evolving around Brigg, ie Kirton and Grasby. ..and then Brigg is made out to be a big attraction, so where is the commitment?
