GO AHEAD FOR NEW PERGODA AT COUNTRY PUB IN BRIGG AREA

The Cross Keys pub on Brigg Road, Grasby, beside the A1084

A pub in the Brigg area which we reckon provides customers with the best view of lovely Lincolnshire countryside available anywhere locally has been given the go ahead to make modifications.
Located beside the A1084, the Cross Keys, on Brigg Road, Grasby, has successfully applied for permission to install rear decking, a pergoda and bi-fold doors.
West Lindsey District Council approved an application submitted on behalf of Punch Partnerships Ltd, of Burton On Trent.
A report prepared by planners concluded: "The proposal is small scale in nature and located to the rear of the public house. The proposal will not overly dominate or change the nature of the public house and will largely not be visible in the context of the streetscape."
Grasby Parish Council expressed its support for this application.
The award-winning Cross Keys, which serves meals in its restaurant, is on a hill above the village and enjoys wonderful views of the Ancholme Valley and the Wolds.
