There's still time to put your name down to play in the annual Adrian Gibbons memorial football match 2019, taking place this Sunday (5th May) at Brigg Town FC's Hawthorns ground (3pm KO - not 2pm as originally stated.).
The game will be between Brigg Town Over 40s and Briggensians.
Proceeds will be donated to charity, and raffle prizes donations are being gratefully received.

A former pupil of Brigg Grammar School, Adrian, pictured, was a very well-known local sportsman, long-serving teacher at Sir John Nelthorpe School and devoted family man.
He played football for a number of local teams, including Brigg Town and Briggensians in the Scunthorpe & District League.
Well over 600 mourners attended Gibb's funeral service, held at St John's Church, Brigg, in March 2014.
