LATEST ON THE NEW BRIGG PIZZERIA

The new licensed pizzeria taking shape in Brigg town centre has gained Town Council backing.
The eatery at 28A Market Place is to open in the Spring and is now seeking a licence so customers can enjoy alcoholic drinks with their meals.
Consulted about the licensing application, Brigg Town Council agreed it is "in support" of this proposal.
At a meeting of the Planning & Environment Committee held in the Angel Suite, chairman Coun Mike Storey read out the YellowBelly Pizzeria's proposed licensing hours to serve alcohol for consumption on the premises:
Monday to Saturday – 11.00 hrs to 23.00 hrs
Sunday - 11.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs
Brigg Town Council's views will be made known to North Lincolnshire Council, the local licensing authority, which will now decide whether to grant this application.
Meanwhile, work continues to create the pizzeria in premises previously occupied by an antiques business and a sandwich shop.
