BRIGG TRACTOR RUN CONVOY LOOKS A PICTURE

Brigg Young Farmers' Tractor Run on the A18 Wrawby Road - March 17, 2019 - see Nigel Fisher's Brigg Blog

A tractor run organised by Brigg Young Farmers' Club created interest in the town and surrounding area on Sunday (March 17).
The start and finish point was RBM Agricultural Ltd, on Westrum Lane, Brigg, close to the level crossing and railway line.
The chosen route took in Howsham, Searby, Bigby, Barnetby, Elsham, Saxby-All-Saints, Bonby, Worlaby, Wrawby then the A18 back to Brigg.
We took these pictures on Wrawby Road and as the convoy negotiated the Monument war memorial roundabout.
Horns were tooted and some of the vehicles were bedecked with balloons and flags.
We had to wait a bit longer than expected for the tractors to return to town early in the afternoon but were rewarded with some colourful scenes, assisted by bright sunshine.
It wasn't a case of ploughing a lone furrow; other spectators also turned out to watch the cavalcade along the route.
Hopefully next March will see a repeat run.
