Congratulations to Scawby Academy on winning a major performing arts competition for primary schools.
The Humberside Police 2019 Rock Challenge® and J Rock™ finals took place at Grimsby Auditorium.
Six schools from across Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire competed, with Scawby Academy winning the J Rock junior section.
In addition, Scawby Academy gained the following:
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside Award of Excellence for Set Design and Function
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside Award of Excellence for Costuming Character
ARCO Award of Excellence for Visual Enhancement

The Rock Challenge® was introduced to the UK in 1996 with the aim of helping young people enjoy school and live pro-active and positive lifestyles free of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs. Due to the popularity of the initiative, a junior version, J Rock, for those aged 7-11, was introduced.
