FIRST BRIGG CRIME FIGURES OF 2019 RELEASED BY POLICE

The first crime figures of 2019 for Brigg have been released through www.police.uk
They show 45 crimes recorded during January in the following categories used by Humberside Police:

• Anti-social behaviour 7
• Bicycle theft 0
• Burglary 6
• Criminal damage and arson 7
• Drugs 0
• Other crime 1
• Other theft 3
• Possession of weapons 0
• Public order 3
• Robbery 0
• Shoplifting 3
• Theft from the person 1
• Vehicle crime 1
• Violence and sexual offences 13

All these offences took place within a one-mile radius of Brigg town centre, which includes areas of neighbouring parishes, including the Waters Edge estate.
The 45 crimes included 18 within the town centre.
In December 2018 there were 44 crimes recorded across Brigg.
