The final weekend's trading for a town centre business in Brigg prompted us to take this after-dark picture after the sun had set on Saturday evening.
Many townsfolk have been sad to learn that our Bargain Booze off-licence, on Springs Parade, will cease trading this Friday, January 25.
It's the only dedicated "offie" in the town, though many convenience stores and larger retail outlets are licensed to sell alcoholic drinks.
Let's hope someone steps in to keep the Springs Parade outlet as an off-licence or reopens it as shop selling someone else.
Prices at Bargain Booze have been reduced by 20 per cent in the run up to closure.
Many of us have enjoyed good service from staff at this shop, under various owners, for many years.
