NEW PROPERTY PLANNED ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF BRIGG

Domestic property just outside Brigg - not far from the Garden Centre - is the subject of a new application.
An outline planning application has been submitted to erect a dwelling (replacing a mobile home) at Ashdale, Bigby High Road.
The site is in Kettleby, and the application is therefore a matter for West Lindsey District Council, rather than the North Lincolnshire authority.
The application - submitted by Graham Button, of West Street, Hibaldstow - is now being considered.
The location is near Pingley Park and Brigg Garden Centre.
West Lindsey planners have granted permission for the erection of a stable block at 1 Caistor Road, South Kelsey, the successful applicant being Steve Sykes.
But the same authority has refused Mr and Mrs Waghorn's application for erection of a dwelling and detached garage on land to the south of South Street, North Kelsey.
The council said the proposed  development was not considered to be within an appropriate location, would not retain the core shape and form of the settlement, "and will extend the built footprint of North Kelsey."
People or companies refused planning permission can appeal against the decision, if they wish to do so.
North Lincolnshire Council has granted permission to erect a vehicle port and replacement gates at The Orchards, Barton Road, Wrawby, the successful applicant being Mrs S. Sherwood.

Wrawby Parish Council raised no objections.
