BRIGG PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSED FOR THREE MONTHS
A public footpath in Brigg is now closed - for three months.
Temporary closure of Public Footpath 30 has been sanctioned by North Lincolnshire Council. The local authority has made a legal Order which prohibits people from using the path beside the River Ancholme for its entire 1,270-metre length from Pool End to Bridge Street "to facilitate safety improvements to the railway line."
Now in force, the Order runs until February 5, 2020 but may be varied to take account of unforeseen circumstances. No suitable diversion is available, the council says.
