It's more usual these days for Brigg houses to be converted into flats than for flats to be turned into dwellings. But the latter option is what is now being proposed for a property fronting the A18 on Bridge Street.
Planning permission is being sought to convert 4 one-bed flats into 2 two-bed dwellings, replace the front porch and demolish an existing conservatory at Manton House.
Another application has been lodged for permission to erect two-storey and single-storey extensions at 1 Glanford Road.
North Lincolnshire Council is considering both applications, and Brigg Town Council will be consulted to see if it has any views about these proposals.
