BRIGG SHOP CLOSES AHEAD OF RELOCATING TO NEW PREMISES IN THE TOWN
A Brigg charity shop - occupying sizeable premises in a prominent location on Wrawby Street - has now closed.
However, Lindsey Lodge Hospice stresses it will be establishing a new outlet elsewhere in the town.
A spokeswoman told Brigg Blog: "I can confirm that the existing Lindsey Lodge Hospice shop held a stock clearance sale last week and is now closed; many thanks to everyone who came along to support us.
"We enjoy fantastic support from our customers in Brigg and we are very much committed to having a presence there. We will therefore be relocating to new premises in Brigg, and as soon as everything is signed we will be revealing further details.
"With regards to our other stores, we are gradually re-opening post-lockdown and currently have shops open on Scunthorpe High Street, Market Street Gainsborough, Thorne, Ashby Book Shop and will open our Ashby shop next Tuesday.
"Thanks to everyone for their continued support of Lindsey Lodge Hospice."
The Hospice opened its first charity shop in Wrawby Street premises near Buttercross, later relocating to the former Scentiments shop which it has now left.
