FIVE BRIGG BARS REOPENING ON SUPER SATURDAY AFTER LOCKDOWN

Five licensed pubs and bars in Brigg will be reopening after lockdown tomorrow ('Super Saturday', July 4), the date when the government is lifting closure notices on licensed premises which have been in force since late March during the Coronavirus emergency.
They are the Black Bull and Wetherspoon's White Horse, both on Wrawby Street; the Woolpack and the Lord Nelson, in the Market Place; and Brigg Town Football Club's Hawthorns venue (access from Wrawby Road).

A spokesman for Admiral Taverns told Brigg Blog: "The Britannia is planning to re-open in the week commencing 6th July 2020."
Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, on Coney Court, will reopen on Thursday, July 9.
The Yarborough Hunt, on Bridge Street, and the Dying Gladiator, on Bigby Street, have yet to decide their reopening dates, while the Exchange tells us it will not be reopening this Saturday.
At the Hawthorns, the popular Pips Kitchen eatery will open at 8.30am on Saturday and Sunday (4th and 5th), serving food all day. The Zebras' licensed clubhouse reopens again from 11am on Saturday.

Temporary revised hours at the Black Bull will apply: Sunday-Thursday, 12 noon to 9pm; Friday and Saturday, 12-12. The pub will also have an 'app' available so customers can, if they choose, order and pay for drinks from their table using a mobile phone.
Various hostelries near Brigg are also reopening tomorrow (July 4).
They include the Jolly Miller at Wrawby, Red Lion in Broughton, King William IV in Scawby Brook, Scawby's Sutton Arms and Grasby's Cross Keys.
The Wheatsheaf, on Station Road, Hibaldstow, will reopen on Tuesday, July 7.
Broughton Workingmen's Club is staying closed for the time being.
