BRIGG EATERY & NEARBY SHOP REOPENING THIS WEEK

One of the most popular eateries in Brigg town centre, a nearby shop where bargains can be picked up, will both be re-opening on Wednesday, July 8 after lockdown.
Parris Watson's Deli & Diner, on Wrawby Street, will be welcoming back customers from 9am to 2pm. The Oxfam Book Shop shop will be following suit from 10.30am.

The Deli has chosen Wednesday "after careful consideration" and says that a limited menu will operate for the first few weeks.
Staff say they are looking forward to "seeing you all back in the cafe."
Many customers will be 'taking a butcher's' at this well-established eatery from Wednesday.
It is located in what was once the Butchers Arms pub.
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries this provided board and lodging for anglers from South Yorkshire who came in large numbers by train to fish the Old River Ancholme - Sheffield then having a seven-day-a-week direct rail service to Brigg.
Subsequently, the pub became a bookmaker's before being transformed into an eatery, operating as Ma's Restaurant for some years.

Oxfam established a book shop in Brigg during 2003 to raise funds for the international charity.
