BRIGG ANGEL REFURBISHMENT UPDATE

Definite reopening dates for Brigg Library and Brigg Heritage Centre are still awaited.
They are both housed within North Lincolnshire Council's landmark Angel building in the Market Place.
The local authority explains: "We are transforming The Angel to make it a better community facility.
"People will be able to take part in activities that matter to them, including wellbeing, library and leisure opportunities.
"People will have access to a wider range of council services, available more often.
"The Angel will reopen in late August 2020."
Brigg Town Council has moved from the Angel Suite to one of the upper floors, where it has taken a couple of offices.
These pictures, taken earlier this week, show the front and rear of the building, inside which extensive internal work is being undertaken.
A new  main entry door has been created - 90 degrees to the existing entrance which leads from the Market Place into the Cafe Courtyard. Please note that this popular eatery is now OPEN again and is unaffected by the council's building work.
