GREAT OPENING NIGHT FOR NEW BRIGG BAR

A new bar in Brigg had a very successful launch night last Saturday (September 22).
Scores of people went along to take a first look at The Stables - established in the former restaurant building at the Dying Gladiator, on Bigby Street.
Customers making their own music is going to be a feature at this venue in the months ahead.
When we dropped by around 10.30pm an accomplished accordion player was offering a wide range of tunes, including a fine rendition of My Way - some customers accompanying him by singing a few of the verses.
The piano - available to customers - was also in use from time to time.
Later, some Stables customers made their way to the Dying Gladiator to join in the open mic session/disco and take to the dance floor.
General manager Eugene Irwin described the  night as fantastic.
