Jack Blendell sealed all three points for the Railwaymen with his first goal for Barnetby since he clinched the Challenge Cup for them in 2012.
He capped a fine display 10 minutes from time when he swept home Greg Brackenbury’s centre from the right.
Again Barnetby were forced into making sweeping changes due to player availability but edged an even 1st half. The home keeper made a great save at his near post from Blendell, and Thirkell in the Barnetby goal was twice called upon to keep his side in it.
The second half was a similar story; Blendell had two glorious chances before finally sealing the victory with his first of the season.
