TRIBUTES PAID TO BRIGG CHRISTMAS LIGHTS CONTRACTOR BARRIE GRAY

Tributes have been paid to a man who played a key role in Brigg town centre's Christmas lights displays over many years.
Electrical contractor Barrie Gray, who died earlier this month aged 82, oversaw the annual illuminations installed in late November and taken down safely in the New Year.
Coun Penny Smith told the Town Council's March meeting that Barrie had been the mainstay of the Christmas lights.
"I want the council to note we are sorry that he's passed away and send our condolences to his family," she said.
Coun Rob Waltham said Barrie was "a good guy" - and a best friend of his father.
