Brigg Blog gave its followers advance notice of roadworks affecting the free flow of traffic on the A18 Barnard Avenue between Tuesday, April 14 and Thursday, April 16 with delays being likely.
The all-important traffic lights at the top of Wesley Road and Old Courts Road were switched off yesterday and replaced by 4-way temporary controls.
We took the above picture at 4.25pm when considerable traffic queues were evident along the A18.

The 4 way traffic system looked very complicated...I couldn't work out while traffic was stopped outside the Methodist Church that individual cars travelled along the opposite side of the road to turn into Old Courts...all very odd.
