MORE POLICE TO BE ALLOCATED TO BRIGG

Brigg police were unable to send a representative to the Annual Town Public Meeting in the Angel Suite.
However, PCSO Danny Whitehead submitted a written report which was read to those present by Town Clerk Dinah Lilley on his behalf.
PCSO Whithead said he was pleased to be working in Brigg  and said local staffing was being increased.
Figures were given pointing to a general reduction in crime.
Coun Ann Eardley told the meeting that she was keen to know the opening hours of the public office at the police station on Barnard Avenue.

With respect to PCSOs, it's is a bit like a head teacher sending a classroom assistant to a address a meeting of parents.
In the past, we've had inspectors, Sgt Gatwick, or PC Proud to represent local bobbies...
