EXTRA DAY'S RACING COMING UP AT MARKET RASEN

Market Rasen Racecourse is to stage an additional fixture this Sunday (April 22).
The Lincolnshire track has been awarded the meeting by the British Horseracing Authority after more than 60 fixtures were lost to inclement weather since the start of 2018 across the country.
Accompanied children aged under 18 will be admitted free of charge, while adults pay £5 in advance or £10 on the gate. Spectators will be able to access all enclosures.
Children can enjoy the racecourse’s new ‘Neigh and Play Garden’ ahead of the official opening on Sunday, 20th May. The weather is set fair, so it is a great opportunity for a family day out.
Nadia Powell, General Manager, Market Rasen Racecourse, said: “We are delighted to be able to put on this day of racing on Sunday for our visitors. The weather has been challenging across Britain since the start of the year and this meeting will assist racehorse owners and trainers by giving their horses an opportunity to race.”
Gates open at 12.25pm. The first race is at 2.25pm, with the finale at 5.40pm.
