We don't want to be accused of hamming things up, but there's to be a Bacon Bun Day in Brigg town centre that might well appeal to hungry market day shoppers.
This event will be held at WI (Women's Institute) House, Queen Street, on Thursday, April 19, between 10am and noon.
The organisers say: "Come and join us for a bacon bun, tea/coffee and a bit of banter."
The cost is £3, plus raffle.
