BRIGG TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB FACE THREE VITAL GAMES THIS WEEK AS THEY BATTLE TO AVOID RELEGATION
Brigg Town Football Club's attempts to pull off a Houdini-like escape from relegation is still on in the Northern Counties East First Division.
The Zebras shared the spoils 1-1 with Armthorpe Welfare at The Hawthorns yesterday (Saturday, April 21).
Brigg came from behind to level with a Jake Crossland goal late in the first half before a crowd of 121.
This was Brigg's final home game of the season, their remaining three fixtures being away from home.
Brigg are second from bottom - two points behind FC Bolsover. However, the Zebras have a better goal difference.
On Tuesday (April 24) Brigg journey to Yorkshire Amateur FC (7.45pm KO).
Thursday (April 26) sees them away to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic.
On Saturday (April 28) Brigg are at Selby Town.
So this is a vital week for the Zebras as they battle to avoid dropping another level in the football pyramid structure.
Bolsover's final fixture is not until Monday, April 30.
Depending on how Brigg do in their games this week, it could be they will have to wait until the last day of the month to know whether they have escaped the drop.
