BRIGG ADMIRATION FOR WORLD WAR ONE TRENCH MEMORIAL

A member of Brigg Town Council has expressed his admiration for a World War One centenary project in Immingham involving the creation of a trench to show people what life was like for servicemen during the 1914-18 conflict.
Coun Chris Dyson (above) told the Town Council's February meeting in the Angel Suite that Immingham's was a brilliant idea, involving land owned by the port town's own authority. He said the trench would really bring home to visitors what it was like.
