Brigg Town Council occasionally makes comment on planning applications close to, but outside, its boundaries. And this is the case with one near Kettleby level crossing, currently being considered by West Lindsey District Council.
The proposal is an amended scheme for an increased number of smaller caravan pitches - 16 rather than eight - at Field View Caravan Park, Kettleby Lane,
Coun Ben Nobbs spotted the application "which is right on the border between North Lincolnshire and West Lindsey" and it was discussed by Brigg Town Council, which has decided to object to the change.
Coun Nobbs also said the application had also "taken out the word gypsy."
West Lindsey says the public consultation period is under way.
