A new high-tech traffic light control system will be in place on the A18 in Brigg during the next few weeks, town councillors were told at their March meeting.
The so-called MOVA system will be able to make adjustments to the sequence of lights, depending on the amount of traffic.
Currently, as all drivers know, you can wait at a red light on Barnard Avenue when there's little, or no, traffic waiting in Old Courts Road or Wesley Road.
The lights between Cary Lane, Barnard Avenue and Ash Grove will also be included.
