BRIGG JOBS: FULL-TIME WORK FOR 10 PEOPLE PROPOSED AT NEW INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
New investment is planned on an industrial estate in Brigg with 10 proposed full-time employees working on the site.
Vacant land on the Ancholme Business Park, off Atherton Way, is being earmarked for development.
Local company CLS Civil Engineering Ltd is now seeking North Lincolnshire Council approval to erect five industrial units with associated car parking and landscaping on a site defined as Plot B to the north of Atherton Way, not far from the M180.
Planning categories B2 and B8 are indicated for the new units - general industrial and distribution or storage.
Included in the scheme are a Tarmac access road, precast concrete footpaths, car and cycle parking and 4m high external lighting columns.
Brigg Town Council is being consulted as part of the planning process and will consider this application at its next meeting to be held on Monday night (August 17).
Town councillors' views will be forwarded to North Lincolnshire Council which will then make a decision on CLS's application.
