NEW FREE FACILITY COMING TO TESCO STORE IN BRIGG

The Tesco store in Brigg will be offering free charging points for electrically powered cars from early September 2020

Green-minded motorists visiting the Tesco store in Brigg are soon to get a Little Help from the well-known retailer, and it won't cost them a penny!
Charging points for electrically powered cars are being installed on the side of the store facing Barnard Avenue.
Tesco has already added EV chargers at more than 200 outlets across the UK, with others to follow.
Brigg customers will soon be able to park in the bays, plug in and charge while doing their shopping.
We took these pictures recently, with bollards still evident near the bays, indicating they were not yet in use.
We thought we'd better find out more, and a helpful Tesco spokesman told Brigg Blog: “As part of our Little Helps Plan we’re rolling out 600 free electric vehicle charging points across the UK.
"We recently passed 200 and Brigg Superstore is part of the next batch to be up and running for customers by early September. Providing customers with charging points offers them a sustainable choice, giving them the opportunity to charge their car for free while they shop is a little help to make this easier.”
North Lincolnshire Council installed a couple of charging points in its car park behind the Angel many months ago.
