Don't forget that the monthly Brigg Farmers' Market is coming up tomorrow (Saturday, August 22) and will be accompanied by the general Saturday market.
Operated by North Lincolnshire Council, the farmers' market celebrated its 20th anniversary last month.
It gives people the opportunity to buy a wide range of produce on offer at stalls within the town centre, from early morning through to mid-afternoon. Items to purchase include bread, cheese, cakes, meat and jam.
With many people who visit the award-winning farmers' market also popping into local shops, the increased footfall assists local businesses - especially welcome in the current economic climate resulting from the Coronavirus emergency.
North Lincolnshire Council's well-established free car parking concession helps to attract Saturday visitors. You don't have to pay to park and enjoy our market!
Brigg Farmers' Market is held on the fourth Saturday of the month, except in December when it can alter due to the festive season.
Our picture shows a previous August farmers' market in full swing. Fingers crossed for some decent weather this weekend!
Today (Friday, August 21) there's a FREE barbecue on offer from 3pm to 6pm at the Britannia Inn, on Wrawby Street, to mark the arrival of Mark Burns as landlord.
