Aldi is displaying a 'coming soon' message outside its new Brigg store which is taking shape beside the A18 on Bridge Street.
The latest check made with the company by Brigg Blog confirmed what we expected: the international discount retailer is not yet in a position to announce the all-important opening date. We have asked Aldi to let us know as soon as this is agreed.
One of the latest features to be added is a new mini-roundabout on the A18, giving access to, and entry from, the store which will have extensive car parking available.
There are also new crossing points on Bridge Street which can be used by pedestrians shopping at the store.
One is on Cake Mills Bridge, close to the Waters Edge housing estate (in Broughton parish) and the other on Bridge Street near the mini-roundabout.
Opening hours at Brigg's Aldi store will be: Mondays to Saturdays, 8am to 10pm; Sundays, 10am to 4pm.
