Another Brigg town centre pub is reopening after Coronavirus emergency lockdown from today (Wednesday, August 12). Now welcoming customers old and new is the Yarborough Hunt, on Bridge Street.
Measures will be in place to ensure "a Covid-19 safe environment" for those either side of the bar.
Initial opening times will be Wednesday 11am-11 pm; Thursday 11am-11pm; Friday 11am-12pm; Saturday 11am-12pm; Sunday 11am-10.30pm.
For the time being the hostelry will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, except on Bank Holidays.
A queuing system for admission will be in place outside the front door. Customers will be greeted shown to a designated table. Social distancing will apply inside the premises and customers will need to exit through the back door.
They will be asked to fill in a test and trace registration card before being served.
No standing or drinking will be permitted at the bar.
The Yarborough Hunt is accepting contactless/card payments and cash..
Well behaved dogs are still welcome but must be keep on a lead at all times.
The Yarborough Hunt is advising potential customers to book tables in advance on Friday and Saturday nights; however, this is not essential. Call 01652 658333 or message through the pub's Facebook page.
Landlady Amanda Mills and her staff "can't wait to see everyone as we reopen our doors."
She says the safety of customers and staff "is our priority - and your co-operation is greatly appreciated."
Now the Yarborough is reopening, the Exchange is the only licensed venue in Brigg that has not done so since lockdown took effect on March 20.
We took these pictures at the weekend as the Yarborough continued internal and external modifications ahead of reopening.
