LATEST BRIGG CRIME FIGURES REVEALED


Brigg saw a rise in crime, latest police figures show.
Statistics made public through www.police.uk reveal there were 59 crimes recorded in Brigg during April 2019 - four more than in March.
So that averages out at very nearly two reported crimes a day.

The police measure crime within a one-mile radius of  the Market Place, and two of these incidents happened beyond the town boundary on Waters Edge (Broughton).
As usual, Brigg town centre saw most crimes during the month, with 17, and there were seven others on the Springbank housing estate.
By way of comparison with the 59 crimes during April 2019, the same month in 2018 saw 47 and there were 61 crimes recorded during April 2017.
