BRIGG BUSINESSES SEEKING ALFRESCO APPROVAL

Two Brigg town centre businesses are currently seeking permission to put tables and chairs in front of their premises for alfresco use by customers.
North Lincolnshire Council is now considering the applications from Shipley's Curiositeas and Cooplands (bakers) both on Wrawby Street.
Shipley's want approval for tables and chairs on the area in front of its main windows - the proposed period of operation being Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
Cooplands is seeking permission for street furniture between 8am to 4.45pm, Monday to Saturday.
A similar application from the Cafe Courtyard, in the Market Place, was recently approved.
Last year the council also sanctioned tables and chairs on the paving outside Yellowbelly Pizza and the Woolpack Hotel.
