DON'T MISS THE LAST BIN COLLECTION IN BRIGG BEFORE CHRISTMAS PERIOD CHANGES KICK IN
Brigg Blog is reminding householders in the town that the final waste bin and recycling box collection is imminent before Christmas changes come into effect.
North Lincolnshire Council is altering collection days because Christmas Day and New Year's Day both fall on a Tuesday.
So the last TUESDAY collection of 2018 for Brigg households will take place tomorrow (December 18). The collection teams will be emptying general waste wheelie bins and recycling boxes containing glass, cans and paper, plus bags of textiles.
Their next visit after that will be on MONDAY, December 24 to empty burgundy bins containing plastic and cardboard.
On MONDAY, December 31 (rather than Tuesday, January 1) they will empty Brigg's wheelie bins, and recycling boxes containing glass, cans and paper, plus bags of textiles.
Things will revert to normal of Tuesday, January 8, 2019 when burgundy bins will be emptied.
With all the extra paper, cans, bottles and waste the festive and New Year season generates, make sure you don't miss any of the collection dates in Brigg over the coming weeks.
