BIG BRIGG FOLLOWING EXPECTED AS THE DIRTY PITCHERS PLAY ELSHAM GOLF CLUB

Many Brigg people will be heading out of town on Saturday (March 7) to see local band The Dirty Pitchers performing their latest gig, as they always attract a sizeable crowd.
The Britpop tribute line-up will be appearing at Elsham Golf Club, off Barton Road. Entry is free and this gig it open to non-members, if you fancy popping along.
Saturday's event is advertised as running from 7pm until 11.55pm. But Brigg Blog would like to alert the band and its supporters to the fact that an overnight road closure is planned at Elsham level crossing on Saturday night, from 11.30pm, while re-ballasting of the tracks is carried out for Network Rail.
So our advice is to be out of the club and on the way back to Brigg before the road closed signs go up. If not, the diversionary route will be to turn right out of the golf club, go through Elsham village to Barnetby Top and then return to Brigg along the A18.
This will be The Pitchers' first public gig at Elsham Golf Club. They will be performing hits made famous by Oasis, Blur, Pulp, The Charlatans, Stone Roses, Supergrass, Cast, Dodgy, Shed Seven and others.

Food will be on sale in the clubhouse restaurant until 8.30pm.
