Brigg Matters magazine is seeking local volunteers to help compile a diary during the Coronavirus emergency.
Ken Harrison, one of those involved in producing the magazine, is appealing for volunteers to assist with A Diary of Covid-19 Summer - Brigg - 2020. Please email

The Summer Edition of Brigg Matters' has been suspended.
The magazine will remain moribund until the present prevailing circumstances improve.
However, we remain proactive and are seeking one, or two, enthusiastic diarists.
Perhaps using Daniel Defoe's Journal of the Plague Year and Adrian Mole's Diary, Age 13 and three-quarters as patterns, we are hoping to attract someone to compile a sequential compilation of factual, personal observations and opinions of national, local and perhaps famial responses/reactions - both negative and positive - to the period affected by the Covid-19 pandemic...under, for the want of a better title, Brigg - The Summer of Covid-19 - 2020.
The medium objective is to be able to reproduce such a journal of Brigg's reaction, in various guises and perspectives to the to the coronavirus lockdown.
Ultimately, such contribution(s) has the potential of becoming a  historical encyclopeadia of personalised perspectives of a period unprecedented in Brigg, UK and globally.
Could you be the talented person who is able to create such an account? Not essential, but it may prove beneficial if one contributor was a young adult (6th Former perhaps?), balanced with someone from an older generation.
Please indicate your interest and Brigg Matters will contact you.
Thank you.
