CANCELLED: BY-ELECTION IN BROUGHTON & APPLEBY WARD WHICH INCLUDES ESTATE NEAR BRIGG


UPDATED POST: The by-election due in North Lincolnshire Council's Broughton & Appleby Ward on Thursday, March 26, involving voting by residents of the Waters Edge housing estate - just a stone's throw from Brigg but within Broughton Parish - has been CANCELLED and will be held at a later date.
It follows the resignation of Holly Mumby-Croft, who is now the Scunthorpe MP, and the death of Ivan Glover.
Holly and Ivan were elected the ward councillors for Broughton & Appleby in the latest election.
Voting to elect two councillors will take place between 7am and 10pm on March 26.
The six nominated candidates - listed in alphabetical order - are:
Jo Baker ("address in North Lincolnshire") Green Party.
Katie Graham, of Broughton, Green Party.
Graham Ladlow, of Broughton, Labour Party.
Janet Lee, of Castlethorpe, Local Conservatives.
Carol Ross, of Broughton, Local Conservatives.
Lucy Watson, of Broughton, Labour Party.
